Sulfide spring fish conservation supported by Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund

The Mohamed bin Zayed Species Conservation Fund has supported the conservation of sulfide spring fishes in Mexico with a research grant. The funds will support fieldwork in Mexico to conduct faunal inventories, quantify microhabitat preferences of sulfide spring endemics, assess population genetic structures, and initiate a diagolue with stakeholders about habitat conservation. Thanks to Zach Culumber, who has been speerheading the effort!
