Ryan Greenway has been selected to receive a 2016 National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GRFP) Fellowship. Ryan’s projects primarily focus on understanding speciation in sulfide spring fishes. He combines field work, experimental approaches, and genomics to disentangle the relative contributions of multiple mechanisms contributing to reproductive isolation in multiple genera of livebearing fishes.
The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based Master’s and doctoral degrees at accredited United States institutions.
