Courtney Passow receives National Science Foundation recognition

Graduate student Courtney Passow has been awarded another honorable mention for the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship. Considering the volume of applications received by the program, this is a fantastic accomplishment. The program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines who are pursuing research-based masters and doctoral degrees.

Courtney is currently studying the genomic basis of adaptation and speciation in fish inhabiting toxic sulfide springs.
