Our undergraduates Cierra Keith and Ryan Greenway have received support for their research. Cierra Keith, currently a Freshman Research Scholar at OSU, has received a Virginia Richmond Scholarship and a Hunter Stone Endowed Scholarship through the College of Arts and Science as well as a Wentz Research Award through Oklahoma State University. WIth these funds she will continue to investigate how genetic and plastic sources of variation shape physiological traits in fish populations from non-sulfidic and sulfidic habitats. Ryan Greenway, currently a Niblack Scholar, has also received a Wentz Research Award. In addition, he received and Outstanding Sophomore Award from the Department of Zoology at OSU and was awarded support through an NSF REU Supplement grant to investigate small scale environmental variation and its effects on fish community composition in Mexican streams.
