Short video about Robbie Shone’s work in Villa Luz

Last May, Robbie Shone accompanied our expedition to Mexico to take photographs of some of the caves and sulfide spring we work in. He describes his experiences  in a short video below.

Cueva de Villa Luz in Mexico

A little video we made for GEO magazine from this May's assignment to Mexico working with scientists studying cave fish. Cueva de Villa Luz in the region of Tobasco is such a unique cave full of toxic hydrogen sulphide gas. Home to the most amazing eco-system thriving in total darkness. A great experience at the expense of most of my photographic equipment. Thank god we used gas masks! – http://www.geo.de/GEO/heftreihen/geo_magazin/die-suche-nach-dem-ich-78424.html#page/21 Suunto
