Brandon Bassett rocking CVHS research program

Brandon Bassett successfully finished his summer internship through the Center of Veterinary Health Sciences Summer Research Training Program. Brandon not only established a method to expose sulfidic and non-sulfidic populations of mollies to H2S, but simultaneously kick-started a collaboration with Jenn Shaw’s lab at OSU. His experiments facilitated analyses of gene expression patterns by graduate student Chathurika Henpita, which show some promising results. Brandon is now off to finish OSU’s Vet-Med program, and we wish him and his family all the best for the future.
